Jason Schaum – Artistic Director

Ever since his first theatrical appearance in 1997 as a cast member of Oklahoma!, audiences throughout the country have had the pleasure of watching Philadelphia native, Jason Schaum perform on stage. Jason attended Belhaven College in Jackson, MS, and received his B.A. in Theatre. While at Belhaven, Jason starred in dramatic works such as Love’s Labour’s Lost, 15 Minute Hamlet, Twelfth Night, and Antigone. Other feature roles that Jason has played is ‘Pippin’ from Pippin, ‘Major General Stanley’ from The Pirates of Penzance, ‘Bryan’ from Damn Yankees, and ‘Baby John’ from West Side Story.

Jason’s performance and vocal training comes from a wide array of teachers with strong performance backgrounds in mime from Dr. Lou Campbell and vocal training from Dr. Christopher Shelt at Belhaven College, as well as musical theatre from Erin Holland at Philadelphia Biblical University. Multi-talented, Jason has also been involved with theatre in the director’s role, having directed such plays as Arsenic and Old Lace in Havertown, PA and Suppressed Desires at Belhaven College. Apart from his theatrical capabilities, Jason is also an accomplished conductor, trumpeter, and swing dancer.

Staci Skiles Schaum – Associate Artistic Director

Originally from Indiana, Staci has always been passionate about the art of theatre.  She is an alumnus of the MasterWorks Festival (Anne of Green Gables, A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and where she studied under John Kirby and Rich Swingle.  As an intern with Morning Star Productions, Staci studied under Alan Atwood and worked as a stage manager, makeup designer, and actress.  Staci worked with Acacia Theatre (Little House Christmas at Plum Creek, Pilate, Interval) as properties master and actress.  During her internship at Hedgerow Theatre she worked as Box Office Staff and summer camp instructor.

Staci graduated from Belhaven College with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre.  Her Belhaven credits include Assistant Stage Manager (Fiddler on the Roof), Makeup Design (Antigone, A Midsummer Night’s Dream), and Actress (As It Is In Heaven, A Servant of Two Masters).  Her work as Assistant Company Manager (2010 Season) at North Shore Music Theatre brought her to New England.
